Youth and Young Adults

Led by our Youth and Young Adults minister, Kate Cracknell, Beccles Parish provides a number of spaces and programmes for young people. Contact Kate if you’d like to find out more information or join one of the groups.

Youth Hub

Youth Hub, aimed at young people in school years 6-8, runs fortnightly. Youth Hub is an inclusive space, encouraging young people to take over the space in the church and to feel comfortable there. Many of the young people who attend Youth Hub also come along to other activities on offer.

The group is supported by a team of Young Leaders.

Young Leaders

As part of programme to develop Christian leadership skills in young people, our Young Leaders also organise and run our pop-up games café, Cakes’n’Ladders, which takes place on Tuesdays during the school holidays.

Schools ministry

Our Youth Minister also works with the local schools, in particular developing a lay chaplaincy role. This includes leading sessions at the Christian Union and ‘Soul Space’, designed to create a safe space for young people to ask life’s ‘big questions’.
