Services on a first Sunday

Note that the services shown here are those taking place on a typical first Sunday. Please check the parish calendar for the actual services on a specific Sunday.

Holy Communion (BCP)

A said service of Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer (BCP), also known as the Prayer Book, takes place each Sunday. The service includes a short sermon and lasts around 40 minutes.

Holy Communion

A service of Holy Communion with prayer, praise and Bible teaching at the centre. This service, which includes groups for children and young people, lasts around an hour.

GATHER

GATHER is our all-age cafe style service at St Michael’s, which takes place on the first Sunday of every month. This interactive service for young and the not-so-young provides opportunities to question, explore and discover the love of Jesus for all people.

Morning Worship

A Morning Worship service is held on the first Sunday of each month. This service with prayer, hymns and Bible teaching at the centre lasts around an hour.

Wild Church

Many of us find that our most profoundly spiritual moments are when we are outdoors, in nature. Wild Church is a contemporary movement, with roots in the long Christian tradition of engagement in nature, such as the Celtic and Franciscan approaches.

In Wild Church we seek to meet with God in and through our connection with the natural world. Wild Church provides a spiritual home for those of all ages outside the traditional church who relate better to outdoor spirituality than gatherings in a church building.
